Warranties, Disclaimers and Service Plans

All Easy Rain Systems carry a lifetime service warranty, as well as other lifetime guarantees explicitly stated as follows:

All gutter protection products installed by Easy Rain are guaranteed for life to prevent clogs on the interior AND exterior of the gutter. If any build up ever occurs on top of the gutter guard from tree debris or asphalt from your roof, we will arrange a FREE service call to come and clean it at NO CHARGE, for LIFE.

If Easy Rain installs both new gutters, and downspouts, AS WELL as gutter protection at the same time, the rain gutters are then lifetime warrantied to never leak, clog, or sag (these are the 3 main problems a gutter can have that cause ALMOST all other gutter issues.) This warranty is fully transferable, and is in effect so long as both the home is erect, and Easy Rain remains in business.

If gutters and downspouts are NOT both replaced at the time of gutter protection installation, there shall be no warranty implied or otherwise on the existing rain gutters, other than the guarantee of no interior or exterior clogs (if leaks, or sagging occur, Easy Rain will be more than happy to sell you a new rain gutter, and install the gutter protection you already paid for on that gutter, thus giving you full lifetime warranty status). No warranty exists for cosmetic damage caused to gutters or downspouts or gutter guards AFTER installation of system(s).

Warranty on new gutters and downspouts installed WITHOUT Gutter Guards, is a 2 year Workmanship Warranty. In plain English, we want any mistakes we made on a rain gutter installation caught within 2 Years. We believe this is an abundantly reasonable expectation. All workmanship issues will be fixed for free within that 2 year period (These service calls are INCREDIBLY RARE, but we take them very seriously).

Rain barrels and tanks are lifetime warrantied against manufacturer defects. As well, rain barrels and tanks are guaranteed to function properly so long as they have been afforded reasonable care, maintenance, and kindness. Easy rain reserves the right to determine upon inspection if any issues are caused by any of, but not limited to, the following factors: improper care, cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear, improper or irregular maintenance, abuse, lawnmowers, unruly pets or children, etc. If any of these reasons, or reasons like them are determined to be the cause of any problems, the homeowner will be offered a fix or replacement at normal price. If it is determined that any issue was caused by poor workmanship, manufacturer defect, or a mistake on Easy Rain's part, the issue will be remedied without cost or penalty as soon as possible. All final outcomes are left solely to Easy Rain, and a concerted effort to be honest and objective about any problems that arise will be made.

All water purification systems are warrantied against manufacturer defects. regular maintenance to filters and other components required.

ALL components of ALL Easy Rain systems are qualified for the lifetime service warranty. What does this mean specifically? You will always have someone to come look at, and make a good faith effort to fix any problem you may encounter with your system. You will NEVER be ignored if you call us for service. Due to the extremely high quality, and great attention to detail given to the installation of our systems, calls for service are extremely rare. However, if service is needed, Many fixes are quick tweaks that don't require a new part, and will cost you nothing. If its

something small and easy, we may charge you only the cost of the part (most common repair is replacing a rain barrel spigot after a lawnmower hit it). And if its big issue caused by no fault of ours, you may be offered a solution at full price. Easy Rain reserves the right to make these calls based on best, objective, and honest judgment. Almost all service calls are are charged nothing for us to show up and at least look at the system. However, Excessive service calls will be subject to service charges which may range from $100-$500 based on high frequency of calls, distance

from main office in Draper Utah, and other factors. Easy Rain reserves the right to define the term "excessive" as Easy Rain sees fit. (All we ask, is that people be reasonable and respectful of our time and efforts, and we will reciprocate the same in return).

Heat cable systems are warrantied to never Leak or detach from your roof. if they ever do, we will come reattach them. It is the homeowners responsibility to make sure their electrical system, and outlets, can handle the load placed on them by any Heat cable systems installed by Easy Rain. Easy Rain is not Liable for any adverse effects caused by insufficient existing electrical systems such as breakers/panels tripping, fires, or any other possible issue. If you are worried about the strength of your electrical system and want us to hire an electrician to upgrade your system, we will present you a price to do so. Heat Cables themselves are warrantied to Maintain power For 8 years so long as they are not damaged by Snow, ice, animals, other contractors, or any other potential source of damage outside of Easy Rains control.

A: Ice dams. Ice dams. Ice is a fact of life when you live in the mountains like we do here in Utah. Although gutter protection and properly functioning gutters CAN help some ice build up issues caused by clogged gutters, some ice build up issues are caused by other factors like poor insulation, lack of ice shield on roof, poor location of home on street or by trees causing shade, north facing homes, and other factors. If you are experiencing ice issues, please inquire about our Heat Cable installation services.

B: Roof Damage. A Poor roof may cause water and leaks to come behind the gutters, Even if we replace them brand new. If We determine this to be the Case after the fact, There is no warranty for this condition, and no refunds of any kind will be given. It is the SOLE decision of Easy Rain to Determine if a Roof condition May be the Issue causing the leak. No other factors Shall be considered, up to and including, but not limited to, the opinions of other Roofers, Gutter Contractors, Friends, Family, Neighbors, inspectors, or the Homeowners Themselves. However, we Promise to be completely honest, objective, and diligent in our assessment. We will make our best effort to fix the issue. And if the issue is beyond our abilities to fix, we will either refer you to a trusted roofer, or present you a price to subcontract a trusted roofer to replace the roof ourselves.

C: Poor Electrical Systems. Easy Rain is not Liable for any negative Effects Caused by a bad existing Electrical system. Including but not limited to Loss of power, Fires, Personal injury due to Electrocution, or any other potential risk that Bad Electrical systems could potentially cause.

D: Easy Rain is not liable for any adverse effects caused by drinking rain water. It is the customer's responsibility alone, to make sure the water is safe to drink including but not limited to, properly maintaining all rain barrels and tanks, rain gutters, filters and filtration systems, testing rainwater prior to consumption, and any other measure not explicitly stated in this contract. If you are unwilling, or unable to perform any maintenance to your equipment, please ask us about our yearly maintenance service plans.
